To Protect and Conserve the Highlands of Scotland I've bought a plot of ground (Ref.A160995) located in the Nature Reserve of Glencoe Wood (Title Number ARG14245 recorded in the Land Register of Scotland) which forms part of the Keil Hill Estate in the Highlands. Pour Protéger et Conserver les Highlands d'Ecosse, j'ai acheté un lopin de terre (Ref.A160995) situé dans la Réserve Naturelle de Glencoe Wood (Numéro d'Article ARG14245 enregisté dans le Registre Foncier d'Ecosse) qui fait partie du Domaine de Keil Hill dans les Highlands. In Scotland, when ancient Estates have historical ties to Feudal System, their owners assume the Scottish Courtesy Title of Laird and are addressed as Lord or Lady of this Estate. But unlike the English Titles which are Nobility Titles tied to persons, the Scottish Title Laird is a Territorial Title tied to the ground: that's a "Corporeal Hereditament" and according to the Scottish Law, when you legally buy a part of an Historical Feudal Lordship, you also buy the Title attached to your Estate. En Ecosse, quand des anciens Domaines ont des liens historiques avec le Système Féodal, leurs propriétaires portent le Titre de Courtoisie Ecossais de Laird et sont adressés en tant que Lord ou Lady de ce Domaine. Mais contrairement aux Titres Anglais qui sont des Titres de Noblesse liés aux personnes, le Titre Ecossais de Laird est un Titre Territorial lié à la terre: c'est un "Héritage Corporel" et selon le Droit Ecossais, quand vous achetez légalement une parcelle d'une ancienne Seigneurerie Féodale, vous achetez également le Titre attaché à votre Domaine. My Estate beeing located in the ancient Feudal Fief of Glencoe which has existed since Medieval Times and has marked the Scottish History with the massacre of the Clan MacDonald of Glencoe in 1692, as new Landowner, I therefore also gained the Genuine and Legal Title tied to my Estate and I may now assume the Title of Lord of Glencoe and have the Full Rights to use the Clan Crest and the Tartan of Glencoe in Perpetuity. Mon Domaine étant situé dans l'ancien Fief Féodal de Glencoe qui existe depuis les Temps Médiévaux et a marqué l'Histoire de l'Ecosse avec le massacre du Clan MacDonald de Glencoe en 1692, comme nouveau Propriétaire Terrien, j'ai donc aussi acquis le Titre Authentique et Légal lié à mon Domaine et je peux maintenant porter le Titre de Lord de Glencoe et utiliser de Pleins Droits les Armoiries et le Tartan de Glencoe à Perpétuité.

What in Belgium?
Like most of other countries, Belgium doesn't recognize foreign Titles of Nobility and it's prohibited in Belgium to use a foreign Title tied to your name
unless you also possess the nationality. Et en Belgique?
Comme la plus part d'autres pays, la Belgique ne reconnait pas les Titres de Noblesse étrangers et il est interdit en Belgique d'utiliser un Titre étranger lié à votre nom
